We specialize in an end-to-end service for investing in and relocating to Spain.
Door Open specialises in assisting international investors access the Spanish property market. Typically, these investors limit their property search to just one or two of the biggest estate agents who have the capabilities to deal with international clients.
Door Open is able to facilitate far greater market penetration by providing access to a wider range of market participants, many of whom are important players in the real estate sector but do not have an ideal set up deal with international buyers.
Our network is a combination of: independent real estate agents, real estate agencies, lawyers, tax advisors, legal translators, and other local agents, who together can provide a 360º service to our clients.
Our team
A chartered accountant with more than 30 years of international tax experience. After his years spent at Ernst&Young as Head of the Spanish desk in London, he founded his own tax firm in Barcelona which predominantly focuses on international clients. He is the co-founder and Chairman of Door Open which he established to provide clients with a specialised real estate service.

Raúl is an experienced international tax expert who has worked extensively on structuring property deals for international clients. He is a graduate of the University of Barcelona and qualified chartered accountant. Native to Barcelona, his love and knowledge of the city makes him an ideal partner to assist in making important property investment decisions.

Before working in real estate, Hortensia spent 20 years collaborating with top fashion houses across the world. She has worked as a property broker for high end properties in London and for one of Spain’s most prestigious real estate agencies. She moved on to establish her own company which offers a more exclusive service, combining relocation services with property sales.
